My heart beat for you. Once.
I blushed, instantly, as our eyes met.
Did you see my goosebumps, when our fingers linked?

You imbued my dreams with your presence.
You put a little life, into my existence.
You built a door in my wall, to bridge the distance.

Where are you now?
In a distant world,
with a different person.

But know this,
My love,
My heart beat for you. Once.
